Ralph Steven Barnes

Ralph Steven Barnes age 63, of Columbia, formerly of McColl, passed away on Wednesday February 8, 2023.

Steve was born on June 26, 1959, in McColl. He was a son of the late Ralph and Claudia Norton Barnes. Steve was a graduate of McColl High School. He worked as a computer programmer. Steve enjoyed science fiction movies and books. He had a great sense of humor. Steve will be most remembered for being the most caring and kind person you could ever meet.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Gross; and a nephew, Chad Kubas.

Steve is survived by his brother-in-law, Ray Gross; and a cousin, Farley Norton.

No services are being planned per Steve’s request. He will be laid to rest on his family plot in the Beaverdam Cemetery in McColl.
