Mr. Robert Carlton Stewart passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at Scotland Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. He was 72 years old.

Mr. Robert was born in Scotland County, NC on December 17, 1948 to Mr. Joseph Cleveland Stewart Sr. and the late Othelia Ellavan Garner Stewart McMeen. He was painter by trade. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; daughter, Christina Stewart; father, Joseph Cleveland Stewart, Sr.; brothers, Terry Lynn Stewart (Sharon), Darrell Van Stewart, Joseph Larry Stewart (Laura); sister, Faye Stewart; 11 nephews and 6 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his mother listed above.

A funeral service will be held 2pm, Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Rogers Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Donald Deal, with burial at Rogers Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1-2 pm just prior to the service at the funeral home.
