McColl
Ruth Coleman Stiglich, 82, of McColl, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at her daughter’s home following an illness.
She was born on October 17, 1943, in McColl, South Carolina, to the late James Red Coleman and Sarah Brigman Coleman. Ruth was a faithful and longtime member of Main Street Methodist Church, where she served for over 30 years. She especially enjoyed working with the children through Kids Church and Vacation Bible School. Ruth retired from Anvil Knit Wear, where she was employed as an inspector.
Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She found joy in caring for her home and family, gardening, flowers, bird watching, and cooking for those she loved. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was especially devoted to her husband, Tom, whom she loved and cared for faithfully.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Thomas “Tom” Lee Stiglich; her daughter, Diane Stiglich; her brother, David Glenn Coleman (Andrea); her grandchildren, Erica Thomas (Daryl) and Donald Jacobs; and her great-grandchildren, Jaylen, Ka’miya, Dayana, and Daryana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, James “Jim Boy” Coleman and Marion “Mac” Alan Coleman, and her sister, Linda Coleman Brigman.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Main Street Methodist Church, with burial to follow in Rogers Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
