Sandra Ann Grisel Wright, 82, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Born January 20, 1941, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Irene Angelokopolous Grisel. She served in the United States Army and had formerly worked at Emerson Electric in Bennettsville. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker and member of the McColl Church of God, where she was the Director of the Children’s Church. She enjoyed going to the beach and attending her church.
She is survived by her husband, George Wilson Wright, Jr. of the home; daughter, Kathaleen Irene McLuckie (Craig) of Toronto, Canada; brother, Brian Grisel (Barbara Phillips), of Fonda, New York; sisters, Penny Pollock (Ron) of Fonda, New York and Janice Banta (Bruce) of Fonda, New York; grandsons, Liam and Alex McLuckie, nieces, Dana Monk, Jamie McRedmond, Lindsay Carpenter, Tristan and Tanisha Grisel, and nephews, Nathan and Keith Banta.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00p.m. Monday, February 13, 2023, at the McColl Church of God. Burial will follow with military rites in Rogers Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2023, at the church.
