Sarah Ann Stubbs

Ms. Sarah Ann Stubbs, 64, of McColl, SC departed from this earth, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Dillon, SC after an illness. She was born May 8, 1956 in Gibson, NC a daughter of Fannie Stubbs. Sarah enjoyed fishing, doing crafts, shopping, decorating for holidays, eating at her favorite restaurant Golden Corral, and going to the movie theater with her sister/best friend, Gail. She was a super fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Paul Walker.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Clevie Baker; three uncles; and an aunt.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Fannie Stubbs of McColl; her life-long partner, Danny Hunt of McColl; two daughters, Melissa Perkins (Paul) and Tina Stubbs both of McColl; four grandchildren, Rebecca (William), Paul Jr. (Courtney), Dallas (Tyler) and Destini; nine great-grandchildren, Shalyn, Rachel, Paul J, Kynslee, Chloe, Bentley, Teinlyn, Drake, and Paislee; three sisters, Gail Locklear (Frank) of Maxton, NC, Kathy Locklear (Ernie) both of Maxton, NC and Teresa Stubbs (Johnny) of McColl; three brothers, Roger Stubbs (Penny), Donald Stubbs (Sally) and Scott Stubbs all of McColl; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, February 8, 2021 at Rogers Cemetery of McColl.
