Miss Selena Ariel Marie Oxendine passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the age of 13.
Selena was born March 5, 2012, in Laurinburg to April Oxendine and Sean Anthony Romaine. She was a seventh-grade student at McColl Elementary / Middle School and attended Faith Fellowship.
Selena enjoyed riding four-wheelers, drawing, dancing, and spending time with animals. She loved playing with her friends and cousins and enjoyed her iPad, headphones, and cell phones. She especially treasured time spent with her Nana and Papa and loved teasing her sister.
She was preceded in death by her Aunt Linda Chavis, Uncle Donald Butler, Cousin Keylen Chase Oxendine, and stepfather, John Grant
She is survived by her loving parents, April Oxendine and Sean Anthony Romaine; her sister, Jadin Morton; her grandparents, Floyd and Joyce Oxendine; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members who will cherish her memory.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Burroughs Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rogers Cemetery in McColl.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
