Shelby Deese Jacobs passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Scottish Pines in Laurinburg, NC. She was 83 years old.

Born in Robeson County, NC, Shelby was a daughter of the late Slocum and Bessie Driggers Deese. She was a homemaker and attended Christian Fellowship Church when she was able. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and watching NASCAR. She especially loved to travel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Michelle Jacobs; brothers, Neal Archie Deese, Joseph Deese, Bobby Deese, Mackie Deese; and sister, Evelyn Elder.

She is survived by her brother, Jackie Deese and wife Lillian of McColl; sister, Margaret Rodriguez of Seattle, WA; grandson, Raul Franco of California; two great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 29, 2024, at Rogers Cemetery.
