Shirley Ann Brigman Cook, passed away, Sunday, December 3, 2023, after a brief illness at Scotland Memorial Hospital. She was 76 years old.
Mrs. Shirley was born on April 8, 1947, to the late Coley and Anna Bell Gore Brigman. She attended Oak Grove Church of God. She enjoyed watching her Young & the Restless and Bold & the Beautiful soap operas, being in the yard gossiping with her friends, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; sons, Ray Bledsoe, Floyd Bledsoe (Barbara), Ron “Bubba” Cook, and Travis Beam; daughter, Lisa Cook; grandchildren, Patrick Bledsoe, Josie Bledsoe, Matthew Bledsoe, Gage Bledsoe, Lacey Bledsoe, Candace Sessoms, Cameron Bledsoe, Jordan Bledsoe, Madison Cook, and Evan Cook; great grandchildren, Gavin Sessoms, Cayleigh Sessoms, Piper Sessoms, Brice Bledsoe, Emersyn Bledsoe, Harper Bledsoe, Liam Livesay, Leland Livesay, and Amber Leigh Bledsoe; brothers, Jesse Brigman and David Brigman; sister, Letha Wyland.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above and 4 of her brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 4 pm, Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Rogers Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Donald Deal. A visitation will be held from 3-4 pm just prior to the service.
