   Sister Frances Langley Williams, age 88,  widow of the late Floyd Franklin Williams, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2015 at the  Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC,  surrounded by her loving family.

  Born in Scotland County, on July 20, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Colon and Sallie Marsh Langley. She was a member of the McColl Church of God and retired from Hane's Hosiery as an inspector. She enjoyed going to church, cooking meals for her family, gardening, fishing and before her health declined playing the piano. She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to all.

    She is survived by her daughters, Sallie B. Chavis (Billy) of McColl and Rena Jacobs of McColl; by sons, Ray Smith and Tommy Martin both of McColl; grandchildren, William Lee Chavis, III, Shannon Brigman, Dena Brigman, Lynn Cummings, Colon Smith, Ronald Smith, Jamie Martin, Christina Martin, Samantha Martin, Danielle White and Heritage Martin; great-grandchildren, Elijah Brigman, Cheyenne Brigman, Anthony Brigman, Michael (Smurf) Brigman, Sasha Brigman, Jayden Chavis, Raven White, Daylan Smith, Jefferey Smith and Nova Martin; also by a great-great grandchild, Kingston Herndon; a daughter in law, Brenda Smith of Laurel Hill, NC.
  
     Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the McColl Church of God with burial following at Rogers Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 12-2:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service. The Rev.s  Brian Oxendine and Donald Deal will officiate.
    
   Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband listed above; brothers, Fairley, Leo and Clauda Langley; by sisters, Bertha McKenzie and Myrtle Locklear; and by two grandsons, Lonnie Joe Brigman and Anthony "Andy" Martin.
