Susan Kimberly (Greene) Sierra

Susan Kimberly “Kim” Greene Sierra, 63, of Laurel Hill, NC passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Scotland Memorial Hospital after an illness. Kim was born May 16, 1959 in Scotland County a daughter of the late John K. and Nancy Yarborough Greene.

Kim attended the McColl Church of God. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, and word searches. She also enjoyed music and dancing. Most of all, Kim enjoyed spending time with her family, and her precious dog, Minnie.

In addition to her parents, Kim was preceded in death by her grandmother, Willie Mae Housand; and an uncle, Charles Yarborough.

Kim is survived by her sons, John “Jay” Smith (Jessica) of McColl, SC and Angel “Angelo” Sierra (Ashley) of Oklahoma; daughters, Shannon Flowers (Ricky) of Hartsville, SC, Sherri Ransom (Mickey) of McColl, SC, and Makalai Hawkins (Richard) of Laurel Hill, NC; a brother, Charles Poolaw (Audrey) of Cheraw, SC; a sister, Kay Reep (Ken) of Lincolnton, NC; grandchildren, Kevin, Dylan, AJ, Tacoma, Cameron, Hailie, Sophia, Damiana, and AJ; great grandchildren, Kaysen and Jayse; several other extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Rogers Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Rogers Cemetery.
