Thomas "Tommy" Scott

Mr. Thomas Howard Scott, formerly of McColl, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, FL., after an illness. He was 71.

Mr. Scott was born on June 21, 1947 in Bennettsville, SC. He was a son of the late Thomas B. and Aggie Johnson Scott. He was self-employed working as a chef for 20 plus years. He loved to watch old movies like Gun Smoke, Bonanza, and The Rifle Man. He also enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above and brother Donald Scott,

He leaves behind to cherish his memory; a special niece Bonnie Patrick whom he lived with; sister, Betty Miller (Ralph) of Fort Deposit, Maryland; sister-in-law, Mary Scott of McColl; Aunt Leona Scott of McColl; 9 nieces and several great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 1 pm Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Rogers Funeral Home, with burial in Rogers Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Donald Deal.
