Timmy Ray Sampson, 52, of Laurinburg, NC passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his home. Mr. Sampson was born January 29, 1969 in Marlboro County, SC a son of Connie Sampson Clark and Henry Harmon Jacobs. He enjoyed walking his dogs, lawn care and playing casino slots on his phone.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William Coleman Sampson and Thelma Mae Sampson; paternal grandparents, Junior and Etta B. Jacobs; a brother, Ronald Christopher Sampson; and an uncle, Charles Wayne Sampson.

Survivors include his daughter, Keisha Renee Martin of Chesterfield, SC; his son, Joshua Hatcher; his parents, Connie Sampson Clark (Buddy) of Laurinburg, NC and Henry Harmon Jacobs of Clio, SC; a sister, Patricia Clark of Clio, SC, Tracy Jacobs, Renee Jacobs, Pam Jacobs, and Becky Jacobs; brother, Keith Jacobs; his companion, Heidi Tyler of Laurinburg, NC; six grandchildren, Devondre Martin, Joanna Burns, Henry Singleton, Kysiah Martin, Shaniya Martin and Germanee Gaston; an uncle, Ronald Coleman Sampson; and four aunts, Judy Locklear, Nancy Freeman, Brenda Lowery and Katie Pruitt; his dog, Chi Chi; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Memorial services will be held 4:00 PM Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Rogers Cemetery in McColl, SC.
