Tracy Eugene Lee, 76, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023, at Scotland Memorial Hospital in Laurinburg, NC.
Born November 9, 1946, in Latta, SC, he was a son of the late Howard Douglas and Katherine Owens Lee. Tracy was retired from Eaton in Laurinburg, NC. He was married to the late Sonja Gaddy Lee. He served in the United States Army, where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal. Tracy enjoyed playing games, golfing, fishing, camping, and eating a good outlaw ribeye from LongHorn Steakhouse.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and brothers; Harold, Bobby and Jimmy Lee.
He is survived by his children, Michelle Herndon (Lee) of Bennettsville, SC, and Timmy Lee (Katie) of Florence, SC; sisters, Carol Hamilton of Newnan, GA, and Barbara Radford (Robert) of McDonough, GA; grandchildren Haley Sides (Luke), Peyton Herndon (Amber), Cameron Lee, Khloe Lee, and Anniston-Kate Lee; and great grandchildren, Tatum and Sailor Sides.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2023, at Rogers Funeral Home, followed by burial with military rites at Rogers Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., just prior to the service at the funeral home.
