  Mr. Vernon Lee Parker, Sr., beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann Quick Parker, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 23, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after an illness.

   Born in Marlboro County, SC, on September 10, 1951, he was a son of the late Cary and Savannah Perhealth Parker. Before his health declined,  he attended the McColl Pentecostal Fire-Baptized Holiness Church. He was the retired owner of Parker's T.V. Repair Shop in McColl. He enjoyed shooting pool, and he cherished spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather.

   He is survived by his daughter, Julie Ann Farrah of Bennettsville; by sons, Brian (Julie Ann) Parker of Bennettsville, Cary Ray (Susan) Parker of Bennettsville, Kenneth D. (Tabitha) Parker of Bennettsville, Kevin Parker and Kelly Rogers of McColl, and Vernon Lee Parker, Jr. of McColl.

    A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Vernon's life will be held 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Rogers Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Glenn Vollrath. The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
