Mr. Willie Robert “Rabbit” Locklear, Jr. passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his residence after an illness. He was 60 years old.

Mr. Locklear was born January 10, 1958 in Bennettsville, SC. He was a son of the late William Robert and Mary Etta Clark Locklear. He attended Pee Dee Chapel and Hickory Grove Methodist Church. He was a former construction worker and employee of Roller Carpet. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Locklear leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Candace Bullard of Pembroke, NC; brothers, Hugh Locklear (Brenda) of McColl, David Locklear of McColl, and John Locklear of Clio; sisters, Emma Heffner of Clio, Patty Locklear of McColl, and Cathy Freeman (Mitchell) of Wallace; 3 grandchildren.

Mr. Locklear was preceded in death by his parents listed above and sister Jerri Lynn Locklear.

A graveside service will be held 4:00 pm, Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Hickory Grove Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Donald Deal.
