Mrs. Emma Jane Dimery Holley of McColl passed away Monday morning, April 4th, 2016 in the care of the Scottish Pines Nursing Facility. She was 82.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 7th, 2016 at Rogers Funeral Home in McColl with burial to follow at Rogers Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00, also at the funeral home.
Mrs. Holley was born September 16th, 1933 in Horry County, SC to the late John Brooks Dimery, Sr. and the late Aggie Lee Hatcher. She was a devoted homemaker and wife. In her final years Mrs. Holley was a dedicated caretaker of her constant companion, her dog Benny.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Holley was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Mr. Robert Elliott Holley ( 2012); three brothers, John Brooks Dimery, Jr., Cord Dimery, and Charles Dimery and three sisters, Francis Dimery Johnson, Ola Mae Dimery Sellers, and Harriet Dimery Driggers.
To cherish her memory Mrs. Holley leaves behind two sons, John Daniel Holley of Norfolk, VA and Robert Aaron Holley and wife Cathy of Charleston, WV; two daughters, Louise Seacrest and husband Warren of Knoxville, TN and Rebecca Aycock and husband Fred of Hot Springs, AR; more than twenty grandchildren as well as a host of nephews, nieces, friends and loved ones.
