I am so very sorry to hear of Troy's passing, but thankful that he no longer suffers from cancer, praying the Lord will give you all strength and comfort to cope with his not being here, and I know that He will comfort you all!

Troy was a great person. I remember when I first met him, we started talking about racing, and how much he loved it. He was always so nice and generous. Everyone who knew Troy knows what a great guy he was. Troy you will be greatly missed.

As a young boy I grew up go-n to the races @ Dillion & Rockingham tracks. I saw some Great ones race, Big Jimmy Norton with that cigar, Wesley Ellis, Tommy Bostick & Walson Gardner. ( Legions !!! ) Troy kept the Norton name & race-n a part of his families tradition that lives today. His buddy, Keven Ellis does the same by racing , it too being a Ellis family tradition. Troy will be missed by many..;) our little town has a deep Heritage of racers & I'm sure the local racers will miss him also. Troy, U ran your last race here, now RIP !!!! Prayers go to ALL the Family & Love ones :)

There are no words that can heal your broken hearts, but there are arms that can hold you while you hurt. Lean on each other and wrap your arms around one another and you will feel Troy's arms around you as well. When the wind touches your skin, that will be Troy, when the rain falls on your windows, that will be Troy...he will always be with you no matter where you are. Troy Norton was a wonderful brother, an adoring son, a dedicated father, a proud grand-father, and a loyal friend. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
