    Mr. Jerome Joseph Martian, Jr., age 44, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at the Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC, surrounded by his precious family.
  
  Born in Scotland County, NC, on October 3, 1970, he was the son of Linda Gail Jones Martian and the late Jerome Joseph Martian, Sr.   Jerome was a 1989 Graduate of McColl High School and a member of Eastside Baptist Church in McColl where he attended as often as his health allowed.
  
  Jerome had a strong faith in God and loved his family dearly. He was also an animal lover, and enjoyed taking care of his three birds. He  loved listening and dancing to oldies music and he will be remembered for his great gift of bringing happiness to others.
  
  He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Linda Jones Martian of the home; sisters, Kelly Martian and Teresa Martian both of McColl; a nephew, Johnathan Joseph Martian-Jordan of McColl; also by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins from McColl, Bennettsville, Concord, NC, North Dakota and Oregon.
    
   Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 25, 2015  at Rogers Funeral Home with burial following at Rogers Cemetery. The family will reieve friends from 1-2 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.  The Rev. James B. Skipper will officiate.
  
   The family request that memorial donations be made to: Hospice of Scotland County, P.O. Box 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
    
   Jerome was preceded in death by his father, Jerome J. Martian, Sr.

   The family is also receiving friends at the Martian residence, 283 Hwy. 381 N., McColl, SC  29570.
