   Mrs. Alice Faye Rogers White, age 73, entered into her Heavenly Home on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC after an illness surrounded by her loving family.

  Born in Marlboro County, SC, on January 20, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Rogers and Alice Huggins Rogers. She was of the Holiness faith and was a retired waitress. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be remembered for her contagious smile and Christian love. 

 She is survived by her husband, Fred J. White of Raeford, NC; three daughters, Melody White of McColl, Renee Fischer (Richard) of Pittsburg, PA and Regina White (Daniel Bailey) of McColl; a son, Terry White of McColl; 13 grandchildren and   10 great-grandchildren; also by a host of other relatives and friends.

  A Celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Gibson Pentecostal Holiness Church. Pastor Joel Quick and Rev. Ella Griggs will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

  She was preceded in death by her parents listed above; a son, Fred White, IV;  by brothers, Roddie Rogers and “June Bug” Rogers; and by a sister, Hazel Booth.
